Daytime Activities on Praslin
Praslin has got some amazing activities to do from day excursions to national parks and neighbouring islands to lazing on the beach, snorkeling, fishing and diving trips.
Anse Georgette beach. Half an hour walk from the villas will take you to perhaps this most beautiful beaches in Seychelles thanks to its incredible mixture of pristine white sand, bright turquoise ocean surface, and tropical palm trees (access via the resort hotel). No reservation for access is needed if you stay at our villa. Entry is free.
Anse Lazio beach. Spend the day at Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, perfect for photos, sunbathing, swimming, and best place on Praslin for snorkelling. A one hour walk from the villas via the Mont Plaisir hiking trail can take you there. (or 40 mins by car). Entry is free. Car parking available at a fee.
Valle De Mai national park. (Tel 4236220)
Take a walk in the Valle De Mai forest, remnants of the original giant palm jungles which has often been described as a "Garden of Eden" thanks to its secluded and mystical nature. Here you’ll find the Coco de Mer palm tree that produces a heart-shaped fruit of up to 25 kg, the largest and heaviest seeds in the world. Its distinct shape, reminiscent of a woman's pelvic region. Fond Ferdinand nature trail. (Tel 4237316)
Located at Anse Marie-Louise. A two-three hour guided tour through the thick Coco Der Mer palm forest. A winding path through the valley will take you to the view point where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Praslin itself, as well as the other inner islands of the Seychelles. It takes 24mins by car from the villas. Open with guided tour only on Mon – Fri 9.30, 11.00, 12.00, and 1.00 Weekend and public holidays closed. Entry fee is SCR300 including guide. Cote D'Or beach/Anse Volbert beach (14km) The incredible variety of activities that you can do here, including swimming, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, fishing, and sailing. There are a variety of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops.

Praslin Museum. Located at Cote D’Or/Anse Volbert. (13km) Praslin's first museum displays the traditions and culture of the Seychellois. Visitors can actively participate in activities such as opening coconuts, grilling breadfruit, or take part in various other traditional activities. The garden is also home to many endemic and medicinal plants.

La Digue island day trip
Take a day trip to La Digue by ferry and jump on a bicycle to visit Anse Source D’Argent, reputed to be the most beautiful and photographed beach in the world. There are shops, restaurants and takeaways for something to eat on La Digue. If you take the early ferry you can have breakfast at Gloria's bakery. You can organise this trip yourself. Buy your ticket on the day at the jetty in Baie St Anne. (Bring your passport with you when you by the ticket in person). Cousin island nature reserve half day excursion

Mahe island day trip
Catch the fast ferry early in the day, for an hour trip to Mahe from Baie Saint Anne jetty. Hire a car there for the day to explore the island, including Beau Vallon beach, and return to Praslin in the evening. You can organise the trip yourself.
Just buy your ticket online for Catcoco at https://booking.catcocos.com Or in person at at the jetty in Baie Saint Anne. (Bring your passport with you when you buy the ticket in person). It cost €58 per adult one way in the main cabin. A car hire for the day costs €50 and we can organise the car for you.
Big Game Fishing Adventures

Rent a car for the day or even a few days
Praslin is a beautiful island and there is a lot to see and do: small empty beaches, snorkeling spots, sight seeings stops, art galleries, restaurants, caffes and places of interest. For convenience and to properly explore the island it is recommended to do it by self-drive car. The rental car is small enough to fit on the main road and driving on the left is not a problem, it just takes only a few minutes of practise and you're ready to go.
