Seychelles has successfully been opened for holiday since June 2020

Following the success of the re-opening of the Seychelles international airport from June 1 we are so excited to share with you the good news that holidaying in Seychelles is still possible even in Covid-19 times.

With the ongoing vaccination of its population, Seychelles opens up to tourists from all countries effective 14 January 2021, provided incoming visitors are vaccinated against Covid-19 and travel no less than two weeks after their second dose, carry a certificate proving this and have a negative PCR test done 72 hours before travel. No quarantine required.

As of mid-March 2021, when it is expected that all who wish to be vaccinated have done so, herd immunity will have been acquired, the requirement for a certificate of vaccination,   for incoming visitors will be dropped. Visitors will however still require proof of proof of a negative PCR test done 72 hrs before travel

Probably you have doubts about whether this is the right time for a long distance journey. Here we would like to show you what the situation in the Seychelles is like and why a trip is worth it right now!

What is the current situation in the Seychelles?

The government and local health authorities are extremely keen to prevent the spread of the pandemic in the Seychelles by taking appropriate measures. These currently include, for example, closing shops, restaurants and consistently keeping a safe distance from other people. With these appropriate hygiene concepts, the islands and their inhabitants manage to have tourism in the country maintained.

Why is a trip to the Seychelles worth it right now?

• Seychelles top the list of countries for Covid-19 safe!

Since the start of June the Seychelles have been receiving tourist safely.

• A safe destination

The Seychelles are almost Corona-free and have been so for several weeks. The government of   Seychelles is very keen to get the country Corona-free as soon as possible again and has

established very good and comprehensive guidelines for this. Thanks to these regulations, you

can spend your holiday in a very safe country, which is almost Corona-free!

• Experience dream beaches all to yourself

Have you ever been all alone on the most beautiful beaches in the world? Experience the

often deserted beaches of the Seychelles as empty as never before! Relax for example at the

beautiful beach Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue.

• Destination with no mass tourism

On the Seychelles you will not find mass tourism as is often the case in other destinations.

There are mostly very small accommodations with only a few rooms. Also, breakfast, lunch or

dinner are usually served outside. You will certainly not meet large crowds here!

• Emirates Airline travel to Seychelles with free Covid-19 health insurance cover

Emirates Airline fly to Seychelles 4 times a week and offers free global cover for your COVID-19 health expenses and quarantine costs.

• Travel safely with your own rental car

You can individually drive around the islands in your rental car and explore the islands on your

        own.

• You now get more value for your Euro and USD

With the devaluation of the Seychelles Rupees your Euro or Dollars is worth 40% more than    before the pandemic.

• Support the Seychelles & Seychellois

The Seychelles are about 70-80% dependent on tourism. Families are suffering and the

tourism business has been impacted with every hotel closed down. We fear the repercussions

of the COVID-19 will be long lasting and a blow to the Seychelles economy. Please support

Seychelles accommodation and locals by travelling to Seychelles right now.
